The charter describes the council’s responsibility of supporting the goals of 91¿´Æ¬ by facilitating cooperation and collaboration among the institutes with advice as needed from the federal sponsors of 91¿´Æ¬, agencies providing funding to the institutes, and the Advanced Manufacturing National Program Office.
